Personality Development – EAST Education Children adopt what you do!

Personality development is how we prepare our kids to face the world. Many people think that telling the kids what to do helps in the process. You know what, that doesn’t at all help. Let’s see what really does matter.

They are not to be blamed.

Children see and listen to us. They pay attention to us. They observe all that we do and how. In Personality development the process, they observe our mistakes as well. However, we blame the kids when they make the same mistakes most of the time. We forget that the kids have learned it from us. Every human makes mistakes. So do kids. We should be open to helping them learn from their mistakes instead of punishing them hard. For this, we need a lot of patience.

Personality Development

Love and Appreciation

Kids work the same way we do.

● They notice our behaviour.

● They feel it when we love or when we criticize them.

● Sometimes their emotions get cloudy.

● They don’t understand how they feel.

● They would cry, laugh, fight, and even get stubborn.

The one thing that really helps to handle such a situation is love. Kids need acceptance and a joyful atmosphere. We can motivate them to do good things with learned and appreciation. They nurture well when they have such an atmosphere. They give out more love to people and show good mannerisms.

Personality Development

Being Independent

One important thing parents need to teach their kids is to be independent. Now that doesn’t mean that they have to earn for themselves. But, they should learn to do their work on their own. We see these days that parents handicap their children to make their own life easy. They give the kids some gadgets and cut them off from physical activities. In this way, they do not have to run after the kids. The parents can do what they want to at that time. This is truly unfair. Kids need their parents’ attention the most.

Parents must spend time with their kids. They should play with them and teach them moral values. Also, make kids do some chores by the age of 11, we start to treat our kids just as a person and not as a child. If we do not act this way, children get close to their friends. They find them more sincere to them than us.

Personality Development Quick Support

Here are seven things that every child needs to hear.

● I love you.

● I am proud of you.

● I am sorry.

● I forgive you.

● I am listening.

● This is your responsibility.

● You have what it takes to succeed.

We need to remember that children are mirrors. They reflect us in all ways. So if we want our kids to have good personalities, we need to make ours good too.
